Mr. Mare.
Mr. Hazlerigg left this letter with me this morning. I gather it is the original.
Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 were discussed at yesterday's meeting and the matter awaits reply from Mr. North to whom we have written. (Mr. Hazlerigg's letter might be registered in due course on the MS. File dealing with Hong Kong Renegades and Quislings).
Paragraphs 4 and 5 should I think be shown to Sir Mark Young who will no doubt wish to discuss them and other matters with Mr. Hazlerigg. I have asked Mr. H to keep himself available on Thursday

To
Mr. Hazlerigg's letter and the covering note from Mr. Gent.
As you know, Mr. Hazlerigg brought up the matters dealt with in the letter at the discussion which we had with Sir Mark Young on Thursday, and I think that we may regard them as having been disposed of for the moment any way.
? this had better go on the relevant file.
